AdAge has published a nifty infographic breaking down user demographics across the major social network sites (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, oh and MySpace too). The breakdown is interesting for marketeers as it provides a snapshot of who is using which platform; useful when devising strategies to reach particular audiences.
For example 71% of women on Facebook have children, and 61% have been married less than a year. Meanwhile, on Twitter the largest age-group is the 30-49 range. Click on the image below to view the infographic on the AdAge site, and download a full size version.
