Google Think Insights provides digital marketing resources

Online advertising company (masquerading as a search engine), Google, has access to lots of data, on digital engagement, and can use its search engine skills to find lots more. Marketeers like lots of data as it helps them to make decisions on how to engage with particular audiences. Put the two things together and you end up with Google Think Insights.

“From papers to case studies to videos, Think Insights represents the ongoing work we’re doing to better understand how people use the web, and how marketers are adapting to this changing terrain,”

Said Jenny Liu, Google’s Senior Product Marketing Manager.

Using Think Insights, marketeers can start to research questions like how are ‘Baby Boomers’ using online video? Or how can your dating website can attract new members? (both links are to pdf documents).

Of course, the information is geared towards promoting online advertising, and related Google services, but it still provides valuable insights that marketeers can use when creating communication plans.
