Approximately 25% of UK smartphone users have accessed online banking via their mobile, whilst in the US the figure is 40%. That’s according to a survey conducted by YouGov for mobile web and application specialists Antenna.
Any survey sponsored by a company that works in the sector under discussion needs to analysed carefully to make sure it isn’t just PR masquerading as research but, working on the assumption that the survey is accurate, the results show how mobile commerce is growing, with mobile banking being one aspect of this development.
